Celebrating the Carters

Nearing the end of my first semester, I was given the opportunity to present an academic profile through a multimedia lens. The subjects of choice were the former first couple of the United States - James & Rosalynn Carter. A massive enthusiast of American history, I chose them because I felt that among other contemporary politicians they best deserved some unabashed recognition. After all, they have spent the past forty years giving back to the world through their humanitarian efforts.

This short film differs from my other projects, as it is entirely comprised of archived materials, blended together in a way that paints a chronological narrative of the greatest humanitarian movement of the contemporary age. This was my first documentary. It boasts a DIY feeling that is only possible in the digital age, accredited by its thorough research and seamless structure.
