Technical Directing at THON 2022, my first big gig!

46LIVE is a student-run organization which annually delivers the wonders of THON into tens of thousands of homes on a global basis. We work closely with THON to match their standards of excellence, while emphasizing their family-friendly reputation. In addition to our consecutive 46 hour livestream, we also livestream their autumn 5K benefit run, "100 Days" celebration, family carnival, and talent showcase.

My journey with 46LIVE began in November 2021 when I walked into my first meeting. I had a mutual connection to it through the executive board, which consisted entirely of CommAgency live production staff. I only had a surface level impression of THON, but I knew 46LIVE was the avenue through which I wanted to participate in it. By the end of my first THON, I knew this was one of the best decisions I made at college.

Since then I have served as a crew producer. My responsibilities include directing the livestreams, supervising crew personnel to ensure they’re familiar and comfortable working the equipment, and collaborating extensively with tech for a seamless setup and teardown. 46LIVE has equipped me with the knowledge and experience required in live production work.
